Amber Art is a new amazing series of coins showcasing modern art styles. The Renaissance coin continiues the series and is presented as a 2 oz silver piece with ultrahigh relief coated in antique finish. The key element of the design that gives the series its name is the oval amber inset. The reverse displays a view of the interior of the Parthenon, but where the original has an unadorned dome, the coin features a representation of one of the most famous pieces of art in the world – The Birth of Venus, by Sandro Botticelli. It isn’t in plain view, but covered in the piece of polished see-through amber, giving it an almost ethereal look. With the worldwide mintage of 500 pieces, each coin comes housed in a specially designed presentation case.
