Posters are a part of our world culture. This is especially true for the past 200 years. In the beginning, posters were designed to attract people’s focus and attention, however; in modern culture, this craft has turned itself into a respected and highly valued art form. It was our goal to gather the most beautiful posters, which have been created throughout history and commemorate them on a series of precious metal coins.
The miniature variant has the perfect size, since the original sizes are just taking up too much space. This way you can collect all of these special artworks!
REVERSE
Тhе reverse captures a vintage style travel poster of Washington D.C. The Santa Fe Chief is the #4 of 24 posters to be released in 2015.
About the Artwork: The poster was created by an unknown artist in the year 2012 (copyright: Lantern Press). It captures the most important sights and government buildings of Washington D.C. The city was named in honor of President George Washington and founded in 1791 to serve as the national capital.
The image has a mystical feel to it, due to the nocturnal setting and the atmosphere created by the ambiance. It is a beautiful piece and a great representative for modern poster art.
