Obverse:
In the centre – the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Around  the portrait of The Queen - the following inscriptions: at the top – the name of the issuer: NIUE ISLAND and the year of issue: 2012; at the bottom – the face value: 2 DOLLARS. In the other parts of the coin -  stars of various shapes.

Reverse:
In the centre – an image of a winter landscape. At the top – an angel holding a star. Around it - stylized stars of various  shapes. At the bottom – a Christmas decoration depicted in pad printing technology.
