Amazing silver coin issued by the Republic of Palau in 2011 belonging to new series: Biblical Stories.
The series of collector coins "Biblical Stories" is dedicated to the most famous stories narrated in the Bible. The first coin dedicated to "Adam and Eve" recalls the most famous story that we find in the Bible, Adam and Eve and their expulsion from Paradise.
On the reverse of the coin is represented the famous image of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, the Paradise, around the tree of knowledge, while eating the forbidden fruit, the apple, ruby red colored by the enamelling technique. On the tree is represented also a snake that in the bible is a symbol of evil. Further down is the inscription "Adam and Eve" and the year of issue. On obverse of the coin, there is the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau, as the inscription "Republic of Palau", the nominal value and the typical image of the Bible open, surrounded by light. In the bottom we find the name of the series "Biblical Stories". The coin is enclosed in a box decorated with the image of the arm of God during creation.
